Cosmic or Cosmic Reference

I currently have a deskload of portable amps (JMY, TA and Porta Corda) and am now looking to get a heavier portable system!!

I will be using ER4-S for portable use and Grado 225's for home use (I listed to rock/blues/jazz and the Grado's suit me just fine for home use). I use a Panasonic CT780 for portable listening and my home system when I'm at home!!

I'm looking at getting a Cosmic + the Headroom Traveller bag and was wondering if the Cosmic reference would be over the top for portable use with a portable player? I will be looking to get the base station power supply at a later date.

Any feedback would be most welcome.

40% Home
40% Work
20% Travelling

I think the Cosmic Reference is only audibly better than the Cosmic if you have it *hooked up to* a Base Station One....

Soooo......if you're gonna use a BS1, get the reference. Else, get the normal!
