hi

I’m looking st one of these amps for my lcd 2cs non Fazor but I am not to sure what the best one would be I like the warm sound of the classics and would to keep it but empathise it moe I wouldn’t get the jazz ff just the normal version as it’s out of my range . I listen to mainly classic rock classical jazz and female vocals.

Here’s the link to the amps http://www.meier-audio.homepage.t-online.de/
Thanks

Maybe stick with the Rock FF as long as you don't crank it up anyway. From what I've seen on review the non-FF variants are even more like the O2, ie they can be a little bit brighter when cranked up (though not to the same level as the O2), so you might not even want to use the extra power.

That said...if you really can't afford the FF now, why not just save up for a few more months? Or get something else, like an Arcam RHead.

Thanks for the reply so the non ff amps make them a bit brighter? I can afford the rock ff but just wanted to know if the jazz ff would be worth saving for and what the difference is between the two.

Jazz gets you more power that you can utilize for the LCD-2 plus it has a potentiometer that allows it to be used for more IEMs in case you ever need to use it that way. FF version avoids the slightly sharper sound that the non-FF ones supposedly get to when cranked up.
