You think which one is worth the money? Jan said that HA-2 MkII is better, but I do not know if the difference is large?

Jan is right. You can (almost) always trust Jan

. The HA-2 MkII is smoother and has higher resolution. And it's a really good match with the HD 650 in every way. The Prehead has more power -- not necessarily sonically, just when it comes to drive demanding headphones.

SOLEIL: I'm sure that either amp would sound very nice with your HD 650. I'm just not so sure, whether your source is good enough for these amps (got the CD6000OSE myself - but even for that a HA-1 MkII already seems good enough to me...).
