Hi all,

I'm wondering how many of you use a Corda Cross with your Stax? I'd place the cross between my new Manley 300B (which I love) and my 007t.

Any and all comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam

I've put a Corda Cross between my Arcam and Stax. I like the Cross obviously for the different levels of crossfeed, but more so for the fine level controls. IMO the crossfeed is more subtle and a little better implimented than the Headroom crossfeed. Low and high level controls are the best feature, as you can subtlely dial in just the right amount for each piece of gear/music.

Although its a great unit, I've replaced it with a Behringer 2496. Crossfeed is managable on the Behringer but not as good as the Cross. Level control is of course much better. (Anyone else getting 'Fatal error 2' after 4 hours use?)

Another thing that bugged me about the Cross is the extra set of cables necessary for the setup. Its also not too stable with 4 RCAs and cables sticking out the back; always had to put a heavy book on top, else it tilts up and requires 2 hand operation.

Great little unit, but unfortunatly its been sitting in a corner for a while. I'll have to hook it up to my portable rig for more listening.
