n00b alert so firstly hi everyone

Ok so i just took delivery of a pair of Yuin PK1's for use to and from work (hour and a half each way, nice) but imo the cord is just too damn long for my needs. I carry my mp3 player in my jacket pocket so need the 1.3m halving in order to reduce the excess crumpled wire sitting in my pocket.

Does anyone know of a decent place i can go to, preferably in London (UK), that can cut this down for me and also fit me a decent headphone jack?

Any help, muchos appreciated

You can start a thread in the DIY forum and ask someone in the UK to do it for you. Probably cheaper than any electronics repair place (I was quoted £60 just to recable my Sony SA5000 at an authorised centre)

Cheers for the reply and the advise, didn't think it would be that expensive!

Have decided, however, to sell the PK1's and get a pair of AT's, for moving around unamped the PK1's just haven't enough juice, although the sound is truly devine.

Thanks again
