i preordered this release and have had it for months.

i think i still prefer some of their later albums better, but slanted and enchanted is no slouch.

Yeah, it's probably the release I listen to the least, but the extras add quite a bit (though most were already available).

BTW, if anyone hasn't checked out the "Slow Century" DVD released about the same time, it's a lot of fun. Loose, funny documentary and cool video commentary (I don't think some of the band members had even seen some of them before). Having the santa suits/bows & arrows/turkey shoot "Gold Soundz" video is worth it by itself. Plus the amount of creative input of Malkmus v. Spiral is clarified a bit. Sorry Spiral.
