Hey guys! 
 
I got Monster Turbines in ear headphones a week ago and they just stop working.
 
So, I have decided to try out some full size headphones, but I have no idea what to get.
 
My price limit is $100
 
I want headphones with sound equal to the turbines(I like bass). I am going to be in a quiet work place so I do not want too much sound to escape. 
 
I was thinking of getting the Sony MD4 V600 or Sony MDR V6 because they are pretty cheap and have good reviews. 
 
What headphones do you guys recommend?
 
I am going to only be using Amazon for my purchases so if it's not on there I won't be able to get it.

Already returned them to amazon. That's the reason I want to get the headphones from Amazon only.

Look up the fischer audio eternas. They are around 80 dollars and have very good bass and sound overall.

Get some used D1100's.
 
Comfortable, good isolation, pretty good soundstage for a closed phone, bassy with good mids & treble. Runs fine without amplification. Short cord for on the go. Has an extension cable for when home.

skip the v6 and go for the sony xb700 or xb500 or some jvc around that price range

Some of the review for those headphones say that a lot of the sound escapes, is this true?
 
I am going to be using these in a quiet room so I need something that will not expel sound outside.

Is portability important? considering that you come from the monster turbines...

Not really. It would be nice, but not a must. I am going to be using my Philips She9550 when at school or while cycling.
