I was able to convert flac to mp3 via Foobar (using lame.exe version 3.99.5 as encoder) in the past. And I remember that I was able to convert flac to VBR mp3, which is my fav portable format due to its slim size.

But somehow today I found that I could't convert flac to VBR mp3 anymore. I can only convert flac to CBR mp3 now.

But I really don't like CBR mp3, coz its size is much larger than VBR mp3. So how can I do the flac to VBR mp3 conversion again?

I could only choose bit rate as 320kbps, but there was no place to choose VBR or CBR?
