Hi, sorry if this has been asked loads, I had a search but didn't have much luck.

I've got some music in ACC and I'm wondering if there's any point converting it to .wav? Surely it can't re-create the original wave file??

cheers

I've not used it, but as ACC is a lossy format (according to a quick Google), your files will have permanently lost much of the original audio data. Converting to wav will simply pad out the remaining data to wav size but can't restore the missing info.

Edit: Looks like it's 'AAC', same answer applies though...

I only see one reason.
If you need to use a playback software/device that don't support AAC.

Otherwise its just a waste of space and time.

By the way, you probably mean AAC not ACC.
