I purchased my first bluetooth headphone. I noticed that when I connect it with a device I am able to control the volume using the device's volume control (whether it's the hardware buttons or software), and also using the volume control buttons on the headphone. Other times however, I can only change the volume using the headphone buttons and trying to change the volume using the external device has no effect.
I have noticed this using a Mac mini, an iMac, a MacBook Pro, an iPhone, and an iPad. Sometimes I can use the hardware button (or the software control) to change the volume, but at other times (when I reconnect the headphone) I cannot.
Is this intermittent behavior normal for bluetooth headphones? (I have a JBL LIVE 650BTNC).
