Here's my dilemma: For a while I've been stewing over whether I should propose a trade of my SR125's for some Ety ER6/ER6i's and couldn't come to a conclusion. Then I went over to Headwize and saw their project and addendums on the Plug earbuds by Koss, here's the link . I suddenly became VERY interested in this mod using Etymotic replacement rubber eartips or ER20 attenuators' rubber tips, the kind with 3 flanges on these cheapo Koss buds to extract all their potential. I've found that I can budget the whole deal (I should refer to it as "Poor Man's Ety's")to about 30$, 9 for the phones, 15 for the rubber plugs, and whatever's left over for shipping. The only thing is, is this worth doing, or will it be a waste of 30$?
Any opinion/advice would be very helpful.
