I'm pretty sure that a lot of us while we are on HEAD-FI, or surfing the net are listening to music at the same time. So, I am wondering how is your computer, and headphone equipment placed? Do you have a long table with all your components on it, or a small computer desk with an audio rack?
The reason I am asking, is because I am making a change to my system, and I will no longer be able to put one of my headphone amps on top of my CD player. Now, I need more room, so it looks like an 8 foot long table is in the picture for me.
Feel free to post links to your setup if you choose.

I just use a really long headphone cable and move my amp to as close as possible to me, while still on my main equipment rack, which is about 10-12 feet away from my computer.

My computers are on a rack. Some audio stuff is on the top of that rack as well as on a desk. That desk also has computers.
