Compression Drivers?

I was browsing through a Parts Express catalog while I was "brainstorming" in the bathroom.

I saw compression drivers for sale.

What the heck are those, and are they any good? What are they used for specifically in speakers?

Compression drivers are what you attach to the back of horns. They are used for highs and sometimes mids.
