Comply Foam with MEElectronics AI-M6?

Few people own them, but maybe they can just post the sizes that wont work. I'll start: T400.

Also, you may want to shoot MEElec an e-mail. Their customer service is great and they will do their best to help you out.

Yeah thanks. I've actually emailed both of them (I called comply). But Comply hasn't gotten back to me and MEElec said that they haven't tested them. So hopefully Comply knows. Oh ljokerl do you know if there are similar companies that sell these? Maybe some brand on ebay or something?

But if anyone else knows, a post about it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Can tell you that foamies from my Shures don't fit the M6. The sound tube on the M6 is much larger in diameter.

That's mostly because M6 has a slightly smaller 5mm diameter nozzle side. Comply T400 / T500 is made for UE's 5.5mm diameter nozzle size, which is also very common among other manufacturers (i.e. Sony, AT, etc).

BTW, I put on some FutureSonics Atrio's bi-flanges and now M6 is pumping bass like crazy

I personally like the Sony Hybrids. Another tip that works is the $2 Vsonic foam tip (olive knockoff) off ebay.

x2 for the sony hybrids.

Personally, I use the knockoff foam tips that |joker| mentioned that sell for two bucks on eBay and Sony Hybrids. Those two tips are my usual tip rotation for the M6s and I personally think they're the perfect tips for them.

Last time I checked, the T-500 was on Comply's list as fitting the M6. I have a pair of T-400 and they fit the M6 only if I add some tape to the M6 nozzle to "engross" it. Isolation is quite poor in that case, as is bass response, so maybe it's not a good idea to use T-400.

I haven't tried other foams, but most foams I have are short enough to guarantee a "pop-out" if used :frowning2: Right now I'm using the biggest silicone tips, and they work like a charm.

Wanting to try some Olives or the like, though.
