Currently I got my hands on a Sony X series walkman, I like it, it does the job except I feel it's audio output is a joke. Sounds seems somewhat low, I have sleek audio SA6 and just feel like I'm not getting the sound out of it I want, looking at the $150 range there are plenty of headphones in this bracket. Klipsch custom 3, Westone UM1, Senn IE6, IE7, CX6, and the phonaks. Though I have narrowed it down to the custom 3's and IE7's if anyone has any further opinions I would love to hear them.

Why dont you get a portable headphone amp , it will make all the difference, adding power ,depth ,umph,clarity as well as volume., both custom 3 and ie7 are great phones in different ways, if i could only have one id deffo go for the custom 3 , there awsome sounding

What about durability?? I've had the custom 1's and 2's and they would always bust like every 2 months...
