Hi guys, I'm looking for a low price model of headphones for an ipod 5.5 wich plays especially rock music. I'm undecided between Sennheiser PX 200, AKG K 420, AKG K27i and Koss Porta Pro. Can anyone suggest which would be the best for sound quality and comfort?
Thanks

Well I've only heard the portapros and PX200(version II) out of those, the PX200-IIs would definitely win. They're great neutral sounding cans overall. They are also very comfortable for me. I've heard varying reports on comfort for the grados, but they are always the first recommendation for rock.

i dont have both but tried friend's cx400 and it is really good bang for buck. decent bass enough for rock music and i assume cx500 is going to be better.

I LOVE my Sennheiser CX 500. The sound quality and BASS is outstanding. What I didn't like was the in-line volume control. It caused static noise whenever it was used. And even if it wasn't use, it would sometimes cut the sound. So I just removed it and soldered the wires together. Now I have great earphones that work beautifully.
