Along the same lines as my other thread about shelf systems, I am looking for a system that has at least a 3.5mm connection and here is the clencher....about the size of a Bose Wave System...but for less...like about $200 max...any ideas?

I don't think compact CD players are that popular anymore, which is why you probably aren't getting a response. now if you'd asked about an iPod dock, probably lots of people would have offered suggestions

If you can make do with the dock and the speakers not being in a single box, get something like a Razer Ferox for about $60 and a generic iPod dock from Amazon for about $10. Just use cable ties to tidy up the cables.
