are there any new comic series with good new artists+writers that you guys like?

Well, i dunno. However, if you did like Uncanny X-Men from the 80's written by Chris Claremont (the best x-men writer ever IMHO), you might like Xtreme X-Men, as it is written by Claremont (dont let the title fool you, its not as dumb as it sounds). Its art is done by Salvadore Larroca, who is a very good artist IMHO. I just wish that Claremont didnt kill off Psylocke, as she was drawn beautifully by Larroca.

I also like the writter of Rising Stars, who is the same guy that created Babylon 5. I dont know how to spell his name, but i think its J. Michael Strazensky or something. He does an excellent job on Rising Stars, although the art isnt that great anymore since they changed artists.

Marvel is notorious for their lame titles and X-ploitation.

Claremont returned to Uncanny X-Men a couple issues before the X-Men film came out in theaters. They bumped him to X-Treme X-Men basically to give him his own book where he could do his lengthy loose ended wordy stories without concerns of losing new readers to difficult-to-jump-into-continuity. I'm actually on board with this change.

Uncanny X-Men got a little lost with Joe Casey--I didn't like his take on the X-Men and I think a lot of other people didn't either. Here's hoping Chuch Austen can do a little better.

Meanwhile... New X-Men (previously known as "X-Men") is being written by Grant Morrison and is the best any X-Men title has been in many, many years.

I like Lenore. The rumor persists that Tim Burton will produce an animated feature of Lenore, too.

You like New X-Men? hmmm....maybe im the other kind of reader then, since i really dont like the art and writting of New X-Men...

i do love Xtreme X-Men and the new X-Force (or whatever they're now changing its title to). I just like X-Force since its almost not even an x-title anymore, its so different.

DOESNT ANYONE READ "RISING STARS"???

well i thought his writting style was interesting when he first started to write New X-Men, but after a while it got uninteresting. Especially that Shi'ar Empire and Charle's sister story arch. I particulary found that uber boring and dumb.

But i mean none of these comics compare to rising stars, at least to me. rising stars is the only comic i actually look forward to buying (i already told u guys i cant stop buying comics cuz im afraid to say no to the owner

All X-Men die sooner or later, at least once.

Have you checked out Stracynski's run on Amazing Spidey? ...since you like Rising Stars.

Um, yeah, DC vs. Marvel is kind-of second grade. There were other comic companies before DC. There have been others since Marvel. ALmost every creator who has worked for either has worked for the other as well--be they writer, artist or editor.

Still, I envy anyone who can break things down so easily into little digital black and white decisions so um, go DC! Rah.
