I work both from home (3 days a week) and at my office (2 days a week). I have a pair of Fidelio X1s and a DAC/Amp for home use, but I'm looking for set of headphones to use a the office.
 
My requirements in order of importance
 1. Under $200 (will only use about 6 hours a week due to meetings while I'm in the office)
 2. Closed-can (to not disturb people)
 3. Very comfortable/light weight for extended use
 
I listen to mostly pop and folk music with occasional instrumental music for focusing at the office. My current contenders are:
 1. Audio-Technica ATH-M50x
 2. Sony MDR v6 or 7506
 3. Shure SRH440

Add the Beyerdynamic DT770 to your list, they are closed and very comfortable, and I would recommend them if you are used to the Fidelio sound signiature.

Those seem pretty good but are outside what I want to spend ($250 for those) for 6 hour a week use. I'll definitely keep them on the list if I decided to extend my budget.

Oh sorry, its because just last week they were around 170-200. but out of your list I would recomend the both the sonys and the audio technica but I have no experience with the shures at all so I guess we could wait for other suggestions.

No rush...I just started looking around. I usually wait a week before buying anything like this to let me thoughts clear out.

I also recommend the DT 770 above any of the other cans. The comfort and sound quality is unparalleled.
