Comfort issue

I finally replaced my Shure e4c's with Earsonics SM3 v2.  I never noticed any differences in fit and/or comfort between right and left ear with the Shures (or any other IEMs for that matter) but with the SM3 v2s, I'm having issues with my left ear.  I've tried every sleeve that came with them but still the right ear is completely comfortable, and the left ear has some nagging ache.
 
Anyone ever had this issue with IEM's?  Any recommendations?

bump for any ideas.  I love the sound of these but can't wear them for more than an hour.

Try the sleeves that you used with the shures on the SM3? Try foam tips (Shure olives or complys).
