I need to buy a set of IEMs and I was settled on Ety ER4p but after further reading I'm not so sure anymore. My main priorities are: comfort and isolation, but I will also use them while roller-blading, and I'm not sure if they will make noise when moved around a bit, although not as much as when you're running. I will use the headphones on the subway, in the library, as I mentioned, roller-blading and just walking around. My main listening will probably be classical music in the style of Mozart and Debussy and proggers like Gentle Giant, early Genesis, early Pink Floyd, and trance similar to Buddha bar and GT vs. Project C. Oh, and my budget is under $200, before you recommend something otherworldly

. I've read too many threads about IEMs and my head is spinning now. It seems that these Etys are almost a default choice for this price point but at the same time, their comfort level isn't stellar and they might be microphonic when roller blading

. I wish I could pay more but I can't justify anything much over $200, sadly.

ER-4P/S comfort level using Shure olives is actually pretty good. The cables are microphonic tho, but just do the cable over the ears trick....I'm not sure you'd get better at the price. Different maybe. Better? Hmmm.
