Me again. A few weeks ago, I've started a thread about etymotic as good entry in head-fi. Well, my plans to get er6i with cowon d2 were down, and now, with the announcement of a D2 8GB and a change of USD value here (brazil), I'm going to delay what would be my first purchase.

As a music lover with sedentary life, I spent almost all my time in front of my PC. I'm looking for a heaphone to use with my pc (without external DAC or Amp - but with a creative audigy sound card). I want a fun headphone (confortable, not much analitcal) that I can enjoy the sound.

Maybe I can buy a HeadRoom Total BitHead after some time, but I'm not sure. The price tag is between 100~150$. I wrote a lot, but if I could ask for one more favor, could you please only suggest headphone that I can buy on-line?

Thank you again!

Hmm, the Grado series are supposedly a lot of fun for rock music, so you can take a look at their SR60 and SR80 models. Personally, I am using Sennheiser HD555 headphones and they work well with a wide variety of music genres. They can be bought for $100 or less off the net and their sound quality should also improve nicely with an amp.

The Grado SR-60 or SR-80 are excellent suggestions. Another set which may not be as much fun except to your wallet, would be the Alessandro MS-1. The MS-1 is very similar soundwise to the SR-60 or 80 except it's just a bit more neutral in its' presentation. They sell for $99US with free shipping all over the planet.
