This is a trite question, but what is the current color of Panasonic FC electrolytics? Some of them I've gotten have been black with gold printing (like the FM's) and some have had this awesome dark blue-green color.

Is there any difference between the two colors? Maybe they just come from different production lines?

It's been a while since I bought any of these, but the colors of FCs and FMs was always consistent: dark blue and gold for FC, black and gold for FM.

They're labeled, so you can be sure what it is you have. Somewhere right near the temperature label you'll see either "FC" or "FM".

The ones I've seen have always been blue and gold as well. I think they altered the colour slightly after the RoHS-conversion as the ones I've bought since then are a lighter shade of blue, but I have never seen an FC with a black sleeve.

Wild guess: the FC series has more available values and voltages, so stocking and manufacturing costs more.

Every FC I have bought has been blue and gold. That picture looks like an FM.
