I don't know if it's the humdity or what, but the stock cords on both my 600s and ER-4S have progressively coiled over time.

The stock cord on my 600s has coiled all the way up to my neck, to the point where head movements can induce a mild choking sensation.

Now I see a familiar thing going on with my Etymotics stock cord, the thin portion of the cord from the pod to the transducers is doing a cobra dance, not to the point of choking but irritatingly troublesome.

So is this a case of climate induced coiling or the cheapness of the cords? What are the experiences with the stock cords?
