Coaxial to Mini Cable: Does it exist?

I'm trying to hook up my amp &/or Etymotic earphones directly to my DVD player. My DVD player has Coaxial out for best sound quality.

Is it possible to go Coaxial out to an amp line in, or direclty to headphones? I can't find a cable on the internet that meets this description.

My receiver is a piece of crap, so that's why I'm trying to get my sound directly from the source in this case.

The RCA outs on this particular DVD player are not working correctly, so I can't go that route.

Coaxial out is digital, not analog... no way to plug headphones directly into it. You would need a DAC and an amp for that to work.
