I finished my Cmoy and packed it into a small casing. I noticed that when I got the volume turned all the way down and then I slightly turn the pot to the right (very slightly) I get sound only from the right then I turn it a little bit up and there comes the left? I dont know if i am getting louder signal to the right than to the left. I cant tell for sure because if there is a difference it is very slight. How can I test it. Could it be because of the dual log pot? Or could it be a cold solder on the left channel. Is there something I should check first before I get into the painful process of taking it apart. Everything is so tightly packed it would be real tough to take it out and put it back in!

I cannot understand though if at higher levels of volume the difference in balance remains? I think not and I dont mind about the very low levels. Can I do anything to fix that?
Do you think that this small imbalance is preserved at higher levels too?
I paid 2.30 EUROS for the pot.

Like dokebi said, it sounds like a tracking issue with the pot. I had a buttload of Clarostats at one time and one in five mistracked.
