Hi,
Just wondering, on the cmoy...I ordered the stereo minijacks from digikey...I have no real idea on how to wire these.
1) I assume one of the 5 prongs is left, right, and ground. If anyone can tell me which is which, I'd appreciate it.
2) I tried guessing at question 1, and i think I got it, but I hear a lot of static noise in the background, at, for example, no volume. It's kinding of a hissing noise, the kind you get when listening to a really cheap radio for instance. I have the R5 loaded in, and also am using grado sr60s. I checked with alligator clips to make sure it wasn't my jacks--still there. Any ideas?

The pin closest to the jack opening is ground. Down the left side, the next pin is left channel, the next is right channel.

The pins on the right are switches that you don't need to worry about unless you are going to set up a two jack amp.
