I have been looking at the Sennheiser HD202. I am looking for good headphones, that I can use while at home with my iPod and also that I can hook up to my amp when I play my bass. Preferably, I would like a pair that includes a 1/8 to 1/4 adaptor (for my amp) and that are comfortable, and that sound anywhere close to UE Super.fi 3's. Please, any suggestions, are the HD202's a good choice. Also, remember less than $40 unless they are really great and only like $10 more.

Thanks

eH150's and HD205's are better options.

idk 4.5 stars from 290 reviews from amazon is pretty convincing, it doesn't have to be fantastic sound, just decent enough to come from my ipod, and simple tasks such as headphones for my bass amp and I really am trying to aim for high twenties, low thirties as far as price :/

Amazon reviews really mean nothing because 95% of them aren't qualified to review headphones.

But the 202's definitely are crappy. Nothing but boomy bass. The HD205's are better than the eH150's but are a bit more expensive. Both have fairly similar sound, the eH's more valley-ed.

Do they really need to be closed if you're going to be using them at home?? If not then KSC75 or PX100 all the way.

Well, you said if they were really great they could be $10 more. So here goes: Audio-Technica SJ5. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this one yet, and they're really great imo.

try the JBL reference 410's. they give a fuller sound than my Triplets (Sennheiser PX100, PX200 and the Igrado's)

sorry, i've just woken up

the sound leans more towards those of full sized headphones, than portable headphones. basically they can really thump in a way the triplets can't. they sound more like (if not better than) my HD212's. the JBL's really rock.

the pirce jumps around from day to day, but buy them anyway.

Im loving the look of the SJ5, the Camo version, si there anything similar, with a longer cord or can you put a logner cord on them cheaply, i really need a cord with some decent length, like my iPod ear puds have a cord round 1.2m or something n its way too short, doesnt even reach the back of my computer.

Any solutionS?

i've been looking at the px100, i don't mind really if they're not closed, but do they include a 1/4 adapter jack? and where can i find the sj5's for a cheap price.
