I am looking for a good pair of headphones. I have almost no experience what so ever. The only headphones worth noting that I have had before are Astro A30's and they're more of a headset anyway.

I need them to be closed, as I would occasionally be using them in loud environments (such as swim meets).

I mostly listen to electronic music, so I would like them to have decent bass, But I don't consider myself a basshead as I don't really like big, overpowering, hammering bass.

I have a price range of up to $250 currently.

I was looking at the Sennheiser 439's as they seem to be the best closed headphones (in my circumstance) that Sennheiser has to offer below the Momentum's.

And are the Momentum's really worth the money? If so I may wait a couple months and get them then.
The Momentum's actually seem ideal for me, just they are very expensive.

Where would I be able to do that?

If you live in the US, Best Buy has updated some of their "Magnolia" sound room headphone displays to include the Momentum.  You can also hear the K550 and ATH-A900 closed back phones there as well.
