In search for something with characteristics mentioned in the title. I'm going to use them primarily at the office, where I share a room with a few other Grad students and unfortunately can't bring my open headphones from home. I also don't want to be leaving any desktop setup in the office either so the cans need to be fairly efficient.
I'll be using my laptop with a Dragonfly v1.2 (or one of the new ones coming up).
Sound character I like to lean slightly to the warmer side with a moderate amount of bass and definitively soft highs.
For reference at home, I have a Schiit Vali + Modi uber combo to the AKG K7XX - and I really love this sound. I'm not expecting a replicate of this sound, but hopefully somewhere close-ish.
Budget I'll leave open-ended at the moment but preference is $300 or less.
