I've been using open-backs for ages. My current setup is TT2+Abyss 1266 Phi TC, which is fantastic for me. TC is great to use with glasses, as their desirable fit is to NOT create a seal.
However, recently I work at night with my computer. I would love to get some TOTL closed-backs (or rather my fiancee would love me getting these closed-backs :P ). I'm afraid about the fit with the glasses, opening the seal, and changing the sound signature, especially in lower frequencies.
Based on your experience, which TOTL closed backs could I use?

I don't have any issue with the Denon AH-D7200, so I'd imagine the AH-D9200 (as it uses a very similar design) would be fine too.

It's gonna depend a lot on your glasses. For me the DCA Aeon pads work well with my glasses, but I also heard from people that their glasses completely ruin the bass, because the seal breaks.

The only way to use whatever glasses while getting isolation is probably IEMs.

I'd say something from the Aeon line would work. The pads are big and plush so they will conform around the glasses more so you break the seal less.

Keep in mind wire-frame glasses are the way to go for any closed headphone. Any glasses with thicker arms are gonna break the seal more.

I have never had any problems with Audeze LCD-XC (and 2 closed) when wearing Mykita Titanium Frames. The arms are less then a mm thick and are easily accommodated by the (pre-2021) pads.

ZMF Verite Closed backs . Have the Verite Opens and have to say not a huge difference between them so a nice open presentation and good speed . Though I don’t have the Closed I tried my TR-X00 as another wood closed back and it is considerably less sound leakage than the opens with the on the thigh test and I’m sure the same or more of a difference from my AB-1266 OG’s.
If you want a TOTL closed back headphone then you want a ZMF Verite but as always this is just my opinion.

I actually have the ZMF VC and I agree that it's also a good choice, especially because there are so many pad options. Some might not work well with glasses, such as the BE2 pads but others like the Suede Eikon pads, which are soft thick bois, do better.

As I said one of the best closed backs out there and with plenty of pad options to boot enough said.

If the Stellias have the same pads as the Utopias maybe those. You should stay away from all those harder pads and look for some soft pads. If you have hard pads + thick glasses it makes no sense to have a totl headphone. Better look for IEMs then or some budget closed backs.

IMHO it has more to do with the glasses you have vs. any given headphone or pad.

I have two pairs of glasses. One is a thick framed set that my wife likes to look at me wearing and the other is a very thin framed pair that I wear when I listen to headphones.
Ive not experienced any sealing issues with my thin frames whereas with my thick frames listening to headphones is an impossibility.

The type of glass frames certainly makes a difference as well. I couldn't get completely comfortable with glasses on after a while no matter what I tried, though. I even tried a couple of frames that used straps rather than legs to stay in place but it would still annoy me after a while. I ended up getting Lasik surgery 100% driven by headphones wearing comfort.

Agreed. I got a pair of VC this weekend and always use glasses. Using them with the Eikon suede pads and they're amazing. The only other closed back that were as nice with glasses were the ZMF Classics that I had, which had thick ZMF lambskin pads on them.

Here's a video on glasses for headphones. I'm looking to get one that stays on the nose bridge without the temple attachments (not sure if it will work). Mainly because the thin metal frame ones really aggravate my temples from headphone pads pressure.
