Hey. It will be my first serious purchase of headphones, so I would really appreciate your help.

A little bit of background:

- I listen to many different genres, but I go through periods of just listening to Electronic music (house, techno, experimental... everything really) and Rap, so I guess I would need some balanced, neutral sound (but if the bass is a little bit emphasized, it's okay in this case).
-I rate highly the isolation and comfort aspects, as I would like to use them with my laptop but also (if possible) with a smartphone.
-No amp needed to get the best out of them.

Taking a look to the buyers' guide for newbies and other useful threads you've got around here, I bookmarked a few already that maybe could fit those needs (but any new rec is welcomed):

-Sennheiser HD 25-1-II (biggest concern is comfort)
-beyerdynamic DT 1350 pro (same concern)

-beyerdynamic DT-770 pro (32, 80 ohms??)
-B&O Beoplay H6
-Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7

-KRK KNS 8400
-Philips SHL5905BK
-LOGITECH UE 6000
-Thinksound On1 Monitor Series (not all that comfy I read)

Appreciate it.

Hi, add the SoundMAGIC HP151 to your list. Best of luck.

Do you own them? I've heard great things about their sound quality, but they supossedly lack isolation and could get a little bit uncomfortable through long sessions.

The Meze 99 Classics I would put on the list also it is not as V shaped as the DT 770’s.

Thanks! The only thing that bothers me is that their design looks too much.

Hi, I do own a pair of the HP;s.. they are a great sounding head phone. They do indeed lack isolation but its down to the lack of clamp on the headband. This can be negated by bending the headband to suit your head size.
