Hey guys. I have a senn hd 280 and a koss porta pro. So the senn hd 280 is awesome for the noise block, but the sound is just too analytical for me. I dont mind it, but it has no warmth in the sounds and the bass is lacking. I love my koss, but it stinks when it comes to riding noisy public transportation or when you have studying roommates.

So what im looking for is a headphone, preferably under 120 bucks, that is closed and awesome in sound cancellation, with sounds that is precise, yet warm. Also something with the right amount of bass (not those headphones with those artificial bass boost or something). I listen to classical music, classical rock (deep purple), acoustics (john mayer), and jazz (corrine bailey rae). You probably have to go over 120 dollars, but you hopefully you guys have some hidden gems that you know about

Not sure about isolation, but the Shure SRH840 are amazing. One of the best closed can's I've heard. You can probably get em used for about $120.

If not, maybe the SRH440s?

Can't go wrong with M50's. I tried out several headphones, some even in the $200 price range and still preferred the M50's. They have more bass and warmth than the HD280's.

The Creative Aurvana Live is a good option too. They leak sound and they aren't entirely isolated. Still, for the sound they can be worth it.
