Anyone know any good clip on head phones?
The requierements are:
1. Easily driven by CD-, MD-, mp3player
2. Tight, comfortable fit
3. Good sound
4. Fair price

Another vote for KSC-35's. I've never owned them, but I've owned the 50's, which have identical drivers in a bad housing. Get the 35's.

For your needs, the KSC-35s are gonna be the way to go. I bet 95% of the recommendations you get in this thread are for the KSC-35s.

You can buy them directly from the Koss website.

The KSC-35's are most decent but are a bit "soft" to be used with an MD player/recorder. Their 60-ohm impedance makes them a bit tough to drive with most weedy MD headphone amps, or, at least, that's been my experience.

Don't the portable MD units distributed in Europe have weaker amps compared to the American and Japanese distributed counterparts?

I live in New Germany, Nova Scotia, in eastern Canada.

I can only imagine how poorly the KSC-35's work with those wimpy European MD amps.

I have an MZ-S1 (minidisc player) and had no problems driving it with my 50's. The volume goes from 0-30 and I was quite comfortable, even in a school environment, at 16.

I figured there would be a lot of recomendations for the ksc 35s but I don't have a credit card and they are a bit hard to get here in Norway. I only know one store that migth sell them but that is far away from where I live.
How are the 50s?

I have the 50's and they're good sounding, but didn't have the durability I needed. My school environment simply killed their shells. The left earphone also had some problems with grattle.
