clicking noise with av 710

As the title states, I have an AV 710 and it's giving me these annoying clicking noises. I would like to know what do you guys think it is. My setup is as follows: Celeron (Northwood) 2.6GHz
768MB RAM
WinXP
HFI 700 hooked to the 7/8 plug for high sample rate
Chaintech AV 710
foobar:
Playback: file buffer:128KB
DSP: Equalizer, ATSurround (Headphone), Resampler (96000Hz)
Output: Buffer Length: 2000ms, Output: 24bit
Any suggestions? Is it my crappy proc or is it soething really wrong?

Try pulling the resamping rate down to 48000 or 441000. I'd also experiment with not using the equalizer and surround-sound DSP.
