Got a buzzing through my amp on delivery and want/need to clean the driver tubes because they may be dirty.
What do you use to clean them and why do you use it over other things?
and is it easy?

The buzzing is probably a ground loop or RF interference, not dirty tubes.

It wouldn't hurt to clean them if you wanted to, though. For tubes, I use a cut down cheap paintbrush. I think it cost 19 cents at the hardware store, and I used scissors to cut the bristles back to about 1/2 inch. It will remove years of dust without solvents or water. If a tube pin is very corroded, I'll clean it with 0000 steel wool. A little corrosion is not a big deal, they work fine with it.

yeh, it looks to be a grounding loop (because If i touch something metal and then the case the buzz disappears). Not sure of a solution, probably wire leading to a screw.
Issue has resolved itself ater I took a peek inside. Probably a loose screw preventing it from grounding properly.
