I'm curious as how one should do it. I mean rinsing with water. If you're in the shower, do you just put your ear so that the water falling from the showerhead gets in your ear? Is that "rinsing" enough?

Do a search.... "ear cleaning"...this has been discussed a number of times.

I'm one of the bad people that use q-tips...

Q-tips for me. But be careful. I once drew blood, and that means a precautionary trip to see your doctor and no Etys for a week.

You can also buy a kit to flush your ear (use the search). That would be a safer and more effective way than q-tips.

I don't get much water in my ears when I am in the shower because the water doesn't always come out right away, and that is quite annoying.
