Some say this live Goldberg is even better than his 1955 0r 1981 studio recs. More spontaneous, better SQ (!).
I'm not yet decided, need to let this simmer in my noggin a while. The SQ isn't an issue, coming after the 1955 studio rec.

What's with Canadian pianists? So many fine ones -- Gould. Hamelin. Hewitt. Fialkowska. Lisiecki. Lortie. Just to name a few.
Really enjoyed Lortie's Liszt Pilgrimages -- surpasses Berman's cycle imho, certainly for recording quality.
