Will the CK2III be a good choice or the EC/SS will be a better option?

im trading my Melos SHA-1 w Telefunken tubes (~$450-500) for an SS amp. so my budget is quite broad, but someone offered me the CK2III as a trade option so thats why im asking. I dont think i want to try millet since i would like to try SS amps/

Thanks for the recommendation btw

Thanks Dash!
I will look into a Dynahi as an option too. Whats the difference between a dynahi and dynalo?

About $300.

Unfortunately there really isn't a detailed page that will explain all of the differences in plain English but there is this page------------>

DIY RESOURCES - Kevin Gilmore DYNAMIC HEADPHONE AMPLIFIERS and POWER SUPPLIES

amb's dynahi page may be able to provide some more insights.

Ti Kan's Dynahi Headphone Amplifier

FWIW I think you are going to have a hard time convincing someone to part with a Dynahi for less $600 these days because to my knowledge nobody is actively building them.
