Hey guys.
I heard from a friend that, when he has a cold his CIEMS hurt and wont even fit into his ears.

I researched about this issue and did not find a thing..
so did anyone of you experience this also?

I doubt that the ear canal is swelling that much, that you have issues wearing your CIEM.

In general, I find CIEMs to work perfectly sometimes, but feel worse than universals sometimes as well. They can fully disappear, or be super annoying, with little in the middle. And that can vary day by day depending on your sensitivity. CIEMs do sound better, but it's a big risk for many.
