HEY!!, I thought up a great question!!,...what would you want for christmas if you still lived with your parents/still do...whatever, make up some categories that you'd want stuff in...like, I want a few things...

1. Kendwood DMC-Q35 (can't decide which color)
2. New pair of headphones (can't decide which brand)
3. New PCDP


that's my list, since I got the NX10, I've chopped off a md deck, cd deck, receiver, and speakers, soo....

I won't dignify that with a response.

A cartridge is the electrical generator (magnet, coils, stylus) housed in a body that you mount to a turntable's tonearm.

The stylus tip sits in a record groove and wiggles as it follows the contour of the groove. The wiggling causes small electrical signals to be generated by the magnet and coils and that signal is sent to a phono stage that does RIAA equalization of the frequencies as well as amplify the signal to levels that are usable by a line stage.
