Anyone remember UK Christian band, After the Fire? Saw them once by accident at the Marquee years ago.

Christianity or its proselytizers aren't exactly my thing, but After The Fire were pretty enjoyable AIR for a freebie

After checking out Neal he has some really sweet tunes! Thanks for the suggestion guys.

To the OP: what makes you like Christian music so much if you're not Christian? I'm not criticizing or anything, but I've found that musically most Christian rock isn't amazing (though Neal Morse rips some pretty nice solos), but it's the uplifting message that makes me enjoy it so much. Just curious

People have already mentioned a lot of the mainstream stuff I would have recommended, so I will try to list some of the lesser known stuff as well as some mainstream stuff that was overlooked.

Try to get your hands on these people, if possible:
http://cdbaby.com/cd/crownd (pretty good)
http://cdbaby.com/cd/kanawormz (awesome, simply because they sound like no one else in the christian music industry. Instantly loved them)

You don't hear those on the radio, and the lyrics (especially Kanawormz) are pretty good.

Also, ROCK 'N ROLL WORSHIP CIRCUS.
These people are also very very good, you have to get both of these albums:
http://www.amazon.com/Welcome-Rock-R...6521070&sr=8-1
http://www.amazon.com/Beautiful-Glow...6521070&sr=8-1

Sadly, R&R Worship Circus is no more and has become "The Listening." I have not heard the album myself but reviews rave about it.:
http://www.amazon.com/Rock-Worship-C...6521206&sr=1-2

Also try to listen to some of Jeremy Camp's stuff. He's well-known. He's one of the better mainstream "christian rockers/contemporary christian musicians" out there.

if you want to listen to some "harder" christian rock check out these bands:
Demon Hunter
Disciple
East West
Project 86

Enjoy!
