I have question regarding to 3.5 single end. Any different in term of SQ compared to 4.4 like attached picture?

You might as well buy something like this, cheaper and does the same thing. 4.4 -> 3.5

I haven't tried it but it's discussed elsewhere in this thread -- as I recall, no difference, nor can I see how there could be. But it'd allow you to use a 4.4mm-fitted cable if that is useful for you, without putting strain on one of the ports with a bulky adaptor. (Though of course there is a spare if you caused damage to one in this way.)
Thanks;

You been difference between de mojo adapter and a converter plug, no difference, dat little block only connects the two together, and make it able to connect a 4.4, it is still single ended

But it does look nice... ;)

No SQ difference. It's more convenient for those who have 4.4 terminated IEM/HP. Much more solid than the other ddHiFi options with less chance of damaging the Mojo2.

All I'm going to say is that don't get a 2e one from aliexpress. You're going to need at least *some* buld quality. Bad ones actually in fact do exist and that stuff made me side eye the rest of my adapters for a while in a fit of paranoia. Those that I got from amazon and with my headphones and gear seem to work fine though.

I have good news: DJBattery has agreed to sell me a battery. The price is quite high — 70 USD, including shipping. Moreover, I asked them if other people could also purchase from them, and they said yes. So, anyone interested can buy the DJ133273 battery for Mojo 2.

To do this, go to their website’s main page, click the “LEAVE A MESSAGE” button in the bottom right corner, and fill out a simple form. Be sure to include the model identifier (DJ133273) and the country for delivery. They will reply to your email with the cost including shipping and ask you to confirm the purchase. After your confirmation, they will send you the bank details. Once you have made the payment, inform them, providing the contact person’s name, phone number, and delivery address.

Please note that DJBattery does not sell this battery at retail, so you won’t find it on their website.

I hope this information was helpful!

Word of caution, if you have never replaced a mojo’s battery before, when you come to uninstall the old battery, there is a black piece of foam on the battery. I think that is either a thermal pad to either move the heat away from mojo’s battery or if I had to guess to take the heat away from mojos components and making the battery a heat sink since it is a high temperature battery before it shuts down due to overheating. Or it could just be a piece of foam keeping the battery from moving inside mojo and damaging components.

So don’t tear or get rid of that black foam inside of mojo. Another thing, when you open mojo up, 3 or 4 small white plastic things will fall out, it’s to do with the balls, make sure you don’t lose any of them and they have to be put back in a certain way or your mojo buttons will not work properly.

So think about these things before opening mojo up, and just to repeat, DO NOT RIP OR THROW AWAY THE BLACK HEAT PAD FOAM THAT’S ATTACHED TO MOJO’S OLD BATTERY AND WHEN REPLACING THE NEW BATTERY, MAKE SURE THE FOAM IS ON THE NEW BATTERY IN EXACTLY THE SAME POSITION.

I've never seen a pic of the inside of the mojo2
Edit, just googled it, quite ordinary looking, was expecting at least one capacitor? Something similar to Sony at least. Is it like a 50% resistor design or something? Of just completely different?

Why?

The ‘magic’ is in Watts’ programming of the FPGA. I am no electronics expert but it all looks very … ahem, neat to me. Plenty of (clean) power even without capacitors and op amps ‘only’?

RW or Goldensound could probably elaborate on this in a knowledgeable fashion.

I dunno why, like you, not an electronic expert. Only that Sony do away with dac chips and use capacitors (and make it well known in their marketing )so kinda thought there would be some in this instance. Like the one in the zx707 saying extra large one to Crete soundstage. But probably just marketing faff. And mojo2 isn't known for it's sound stage

It sounded as as good (or bad) as a £2500 amplifier when I tried a 109 Pro (which I did not like). Listened to back to back with all the shortfalls that come with such a flawed comparison ie. level matching, time between switching and sighted review.

My K11 sounds almost as good as the Mojo2 but is not portable nor has it built in EQ.

Both are, imho bargains at their respective price levels. There is far too much marketing BS these days. You don't have to spend much money today to get amazing sound quality. All you have to do is figure out what kind of sound signature (or none/as little as possible … ) you like.

I appreciate Chord make hugely more expensive DAC’s, so it must get better in some way … but I seriously question anyone spending a lot on one these (or headphones for that matter) these days unless you crap money and chase a minute fraction of marginal gain. Too much crap around on youtube (and some Headfi reviews).

Whilst I am an ASR member I certainly don’t blindly subscribe to their ethics either by the way.

I also use my Mojo 2 almost exclusively as a desktop DAC feeding my Violectric 202 and Xduoo TA-26 and love it in that role. Stunning piece of kit.
I just changed my mind because Xduoo TA-66 out of stock. I brought Violectric 202 instead.
