Just remember to use lubricant when you're inserting the Optocoupler into Hugo - he'll thank you for it

If inserting the connector goes a little stiff, apply a TINY amount of lubricant

i did not say that but a person who works for a cable company and speakers told me this, I don't know  if his points are valid or not i am just saying what he told me.

and to be honest i have a custom lightening cable from a known company here that costs 90 USD and I did not hear any difference from the regular apple lightning cable

Just found something good about $99 Schiit Wyrd and Hugo
6VAC wall wart for 115V countries only

http://schiit.com/products/wyrd-usb-decrapifier

http://schiit.com/public/upload/PDF/wyrd_manual_1_0.pdf

Gotta find a decent 6VAC power source for 220V outlets here.

From the manual : http://schiit.com/public/upload/PDF/wyrd_manual_1_0.pdf

3 Connect the supplied 6VAC wall-wart to Wyrd with the attached cord. Do not use different AC
adapters, no matter how fractally perfect, cryogenically treated, or quantum aligned they are. Most
wall-warts are DC output, and will not work with Wyrd. We are using linear rectification and some of
the lowest-noise regulators on the planet to ensure the lowest noise USB power

Try contact ibasso. They supply a short one with the dx50/90 and I imagine they can sell you that separately for a reasonable price. Not a fancy cable but it fits and does the job.

For the Hugo owners: how long does your battery last when the unit is off?
Mine seems to deplete in 24h even when the unit is off.

Not good. How much does it deplete as in dead and needs a recharge
Or just a change in color as it's typicL to loose about 5 % each day with a LIpo

I have just turned on one of the prototypes, it has not been used for months. It turned on fully charged at blue. It should not discharge in 24 hours with the on off switch set to off. Note no charger was connected. Do you have the charger connected but that is also off?
