Moved from the MScaler thread, to avoid polluting it with RFI talk.

RFI A/B testing using faraday cages to block/attenuate RFI

Given the thousands of posts over several threads about RFI issues, it is possible for everyone to do A/B testing without waiting for Dan to develop/sell his faraday cage.
This is not meant to Diss Rob or Chord, but so many of those RFI themed posts contain conflicting opinions, and often include descriptions of 'solutions' that to me imply the opposite because RFI or other noise is now being introduced into the hifi system.

Rob has often posted that he is very careful to eliminate as far as possible the ingress of RFI into his designs.
The final test of ......... to be continued

The principles of making a DIY faraday cage are explained in various pages/videos on the web, for example https://backyardbrains.com/experiments/faraday
It doesn't look difficult, once one has got hold of the screen metal mesh.
The most difficult aspect is probably making the faraday cage stylish enough to be a permanent fixture on someones hifi stand

There are quite a few threads about the topic on head-fi:

Alternatively here is a ready built faraday cage, that one can buy from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/WiFi-Router-Guard-Large-Blocks/dp/B01IJD22YG
Or an even larger cage, which could contain a whole hifi system inside, for less than the price that some owners pay for a 1m cable https://www.thorlabs.com/newgrouppage9.cfm?objectgroup_id=5001
