It can connect to Bluetooth headphones/speakers via Android fformusic/Tidal/etc playback. Yes

Remote connection from phone to 220max for playback to speakers? Yes. (Via upnp apps)

PC-to-DX220max in dac mode, to use as Bluetooth tranceiver? No idea.

anyone try the premium leather vs normal leather cases for the hugo2? Worth the cost difference OR is there another case that is simple and does the job that is even cheaper? I love the mojo case as its really rugged but I know that is a more on the go device

Having lomg owned the Chord Hugo 2/2go and now my ibasso dx220MAX for 6 months now.

I can confidently say these two sources sound so much alike that I can't distinguish between them.

It's really interesting how things are catching up. Hugo 2 held up for so long and will probably hold up for longer.

But this 220max is more convenient for more specific uses like EQing via UAPP on Android. Which I can't do with the 2go.

But I love both devices.

Anyone else got both devices?

I couldn't disagree more. I used to own a dx300 and it was massively inferior to the Hugo 2. I have heard that the dx220 max is not that much better than the DX300.

Dx300 is verrrry different than then Dx220MAX. So I wouldn't be surprised of your result.

But no way are dx220max and dx300 comparable. Dx300 is not a derivative of the dx220. Very different sound.

Dx300 is very far from nuetral, if I were put it in a vinn diagram. Dx300 would be next to beginner r2r schiit multibit. While dx220max & chord Hugo 2 would be in another circle.

I got this case for free when I bought my Hugo 2. It is a bit thin, but fits well and is pretty nice. However, it fits so tightly that it took me an hour to get it off (not exaggerating) when I got my 2go. If you search you'll see others had to cut it off, which I almost resorted to, but patience won out.

Bottom line is it is pretty nice if you never want to take it off.

Have you tried playing music via microSD with Hugo2go using different apps like AK Connect, BubbleUPnP, and Neutron ???

Can you hear the difference ???

To show performance with IEMs, can you please measure SNR (1kHz tone) with Hugo2 output set at 50 mV?

Would be greatly appreciated

You can extract it from the presentation - the residual noise (which is all that would be present at 50mV as distortion would be zero) is 2.6uV Awt. So that is 85.7dB down from 50mV.

For those who think Hugo 2 is not able to drive more power hungry headphones (like Abyss Diana), and are thinking of pairing it with an amp that is still transportable (read battery powered), consider auditioning BX2-Plus. Mine just arrived today and I am impressed to say the least. I chose Hugo 2 over iFi Diablo because it sounded so much more natural, yet, I felt like for EDM it is missing drive. Happy to report that I do not think BX2-Plus is affecting the tonality of Hugo 2, just adding more power to the mix.
