Thanks! I just went to their website. There seems to be quite a learning curve involved!

It's not too bad. You can order a player assembled and ready to go from them. You just need to figure out what software you'd like to run on the player, and how you plan on getting your music to it.

I personally run Ropieee and Roon. But there are free solutions out there. Do you stream from services or playback local files?

I use files, about 1 tb of flac, that are local and mirrored in the cloud.

Please excuse my ignorance. If I use Qobuz or tidal

Will an iPhone + Hugo + 2go

Replace having to carry around a DAP? (For both streaming and Qobuz offline download)

I get that 2go has storage / wifi and Bluetooth

But how would an iPhone and 2go work together walking around a city?

Would I have to have a camera adapter usb cable?

Would there be a 96k 24bit limit?

What about 192k 24 bit?

Not fully understanding the 2go

Also does 2go have LDAC or APTX HD?

Thanks in advance

any downloads from Qobuz or Tidal would be stored on your iPhone (not on the 2Go SD cards)

if you are walking around a city, the only way you'd get hi-res would be off of the SD cards (controlled via MConnect, Glider, Rigelian, etc.). otherwise you are limited to Airplay's 44/16 ceiling when linking your iPhone to 2Go using the iPhone's hotspot mode.

phone+2go+hugo2 replaces dap

Thanks but not portable Qobuz & Tidal hi res streaming / downloads.

Sems to be limited by Apples stupid sample rate ceiling. As far as I can tell. Probably works great with an Android!

I will stick with my HiBy R6 Pro DAP for the time being.

I think tidal hi-res streaming is only possible if you use the desktop software, and not the mobile app.
Something for a tidal user to confirm?
Yeah I was hoping this portable gadget might work around that somehow.

if you are home and on a Wi-Fi network it will work via mobile DLNA apps. you'll never get hi-res streaming via Airplay from the iOS apps.
So how do you stream HD music from Tidal and Qobuz then, only via Roon? any alternative such as BluOS? So even at home with WiFi or ethernet streaming Tidal and Qubuz from an iPad will not give 24/96 (Tidal as no MQA support) nor 24/192 (at best) with Qobuz?

I thought you could stream Tidal and Qobuz in HD from the app and not via airplay? using Zorloo Ztella with my Iphone for daily commute overides the internal DAC chip in the Ihpne and I can stream 24/96 from Tidal and upto 24/192.....What can the CH22GO combo do?
