Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately Poly is enabled and is selectable as an endpoint. It just won't play anything. Roon was working perfectly just after I installed 2.0 but it suddenly just stopped working. It's kind of like it's just 'stuck' and won't play. I can can still use airplay etc so It's not a network issue. My other Roon endpoints work too.

    Hi Matt,
Just wanted to say it took me a couple attempts but it is now working fine. I think it’s a great update and love radio launch. Great WiFi connects.

I have try some webflux in Gofigure :

    320 kps

    http://91.121.38.100:8190/
    http://str0.creacast.com/radio-rcj

    192 kps

    http://audiostream.rtl.be/mint192

If your url looks like: http://....... .mp3
    https://www.nostalgie.be/player/23
Gofigure will refuse to use it, so see next solution.

For CD-quality - internet radio with Poly on android:
The OGG Flac Technology is usable with Poly but not in Gofigure.

About 440hz radio: if you try to use in Gofigure:
https://440hz.radio/webplayer/index.php#, it will not work now but maybe one day.

    The solution is:
    1. Install chrome on your android system.
    2. start the web radio with : https://440hz.radio/webplayer/index.php# in chrome
    3. Share in chrome with BubbleUpnp .

If bubble is already open with Polyrenderer
You will see when you want to share : « the icon of the poly with bubbleupnp »
Select it , and a playlist windows with » SHOUTcast « will be opened in the app BubbleUpnp
    push to start on index.php
    You will see : FFmpeg:L16.48kHz.16bits.Stereo.vol 100

Why ffmeg: because in bubble i do the conversion from flac to wav to reduce the activity of the processor in the Poly, so if the processor creates noise, it will be reduced. I do that with all my usb streamers.

Here you could find infos and a list of worldwide cd quality web radio.
    https://www.hiresaudio.online/cd-quality-internet-radio/

Maybe this could be add in the Product FAQs of the Poly because this demonstrate the potentiel of this product:

Streaming for free in Flac with Chrome and Bubbleupnp, how much streamer can do that?

Thanks Matt...I did all those things you suggest before making this post!
But the good news is 24 hours later, for no apparent reason...it worked!

@Matt Bartlett hi Matt, I did the factory reset, but it’s still the same issue. Everything seems to work, except the ‘play’ button :)

Does the info screen for your Poly in Roon look like this?

    image-9079.png

Also do you have the volume set to fixed or device volume?

Yes, mines is like that. Alternating volume has no impact on the issue.

Should the poly light be a solid light when poly is in Roon mode?

Ok so in Gofigure do you have Roon DSD mode on or off?
Do you have any bluetooth devices that could be trying to play to Poly at the same time? ( The latest version of Roon includes convenience switching that will stop playback when
a bluetooth device connects to an endpoint and starts to play ).

I changed the Bluetooth pin, would only possibly have been my phone, but that’s not possible now.
Tried Roon with dsd or not, but no impact.
I could see Roon server remove the poly endpoint as I toggled dsd on/off.
So it seems that everything is fine, except whatever it is that governs the receiving/sending of the ‘play’ command.

I also dropped my firewall, but that had no impact either.

I’ve reset the router, the Roon server, the poly firmware, and rebooted my phone too.

Ok then I think we have to involve the Roon guys from here. It's Roon that sends/controls the play command so the only reason I can think that the play command isn't working would be
if the file is no longer available. I presume you've tried local files and Tidal?
I'll add this to our discussions when we have a debrief with the team next week.

well on its own the poly updated itself to 2.0 even though could not yesterday even get into gofigure to update the firmware manually...so it seems there is no need to bother to update the firmware manually and that the poly will update itself when it feels good and ready..........the chord poly reminds me of a vintage jaguar....fun to use when it works.......

Android users: before the update I found that bubble upnp would cut the first half second (or less) off every new track. MPD didn't, so I used MALP to control poly. With the new firmware (which seems to use an MPD upnp hybrid) I was finding the problem occurred with both apps. So I fiddled a bit.
The cure for me was in bubble upnp to go to settings=>individual renderers=>chord poly=>enable gapless control (enable).
That fixed it for me. I've no idea why, but it might help others.

Does it work from Roon in airplay mode (set Poly to non-Roon)?

Mine works in Roon airplay mode, but not Roon mode. Screenshot shows track playing over airplay to Poly in non Roon mode (that I labelled ‘poly non roon’.

In Roon mode it won’t play. There’s no Bluetooth device connected to Poly and it’s being recognised by Roon with the right credentials (see screenshot below)

    4713D15C-D59A-417B-9008-449AB4DBC255.png

Hitting play does nothing (as shown on the next screenshot)

Track remains at 0:00 and won’t play :frowning2:
