Thanks for the confirmation, it was just a thought I had in my mind.
Can you let us know the reason why we hear this chirping noise, is it Poly or Mojo?

The small noise you might hear when you don't have WiFi connection is caused by the WiFi scanning for active connections every 6 seconds. In the complete re-write of the WiFi/Bluetooth code
    this has been fixed.

Have you guys been able to look at and/or resolve the battery drain issue that occurs when the Poly is off? I’ve noticed that if I leave it for a few days it’s usually drained by half.

Any chance on when the update will drop? Or if not in the near future any chance we could get the beta? I'd be glad to have my poly usable even just 50% of the time on a beta then 10% on the current. :frowning2: I'd won't complain about bugs in a beta I promise heheh

No this is down to the monitoring software running to check whether Mojo is switched on or not. I don't have any other updates on this at the moment.

And with the current firmware you just need to flip the airplane mode on/off/on to avoid the noise when listening to sd-card.

I'm still testing however I can confirm it will be in the near future but I'll update when I can.

Best to keep them separated or in airplane mode if you won’t be using it (not sure about that second part)

Does separating actually prevent Poly's battery draining?
I'm actually thinking of installing a microswitch to cut the power to prevent this - it really is so annoying.

I will obviously wait to hear, but my guess would be that no, disconnecting the poly would likely do nothing for the battery drain while powered off. If the poly has to continuously poll the usb for power, I am not sure why that would be any different when connected vs not connected. I have said it before, it is a slick solution to have the mojo power on the poly, but the battery drain is a trade off to me that I dont think is worth it when a simple switch or button could have done the same thing. I dont know if there were design considerations at play here, but I imagine it was likely to keep it working like any other dap where you dont have to switch multiple things on. I would have preferred a second switch. With how little I have been using the poly lately, it has been completely dead every time I do actually go to use it. Unfortunately, with the current design, I am really not sure there is any other option at this point without going in and modding the hardware like you were saying.

Same here. Lockups happened when I switched on Hot Spot Mode in GoFigure. :/

I thought it prolonged my battery. So I’m going to guess poly sleeps until it fits into mojo.
The annoying thing about separating them is that you can no longer use the mojo poly case to store and protect them while separated.

Like I said, I'm just the nasty mean dude who constantly spills salt into the wounds. The biggest damage was done by the development team itself.
