Me too, thanks Mike, I didn't know we could ignore trolls , guess who was my first …..
Looking more closely at your avatar, I think you have probably voided your warranty.
Poly still not working. All seemed to fudge up yesterday when I was on site. I wonder if my phones hot spot was to blame. Anyway roon was disabled and then go figure crashed.now I can see it on the home network but have no bluetooth conne tion and therefore cannot use gofigure. How do I connect to it?
MALP is unable to connect to it on my local wifi
Blue light stays on for 30 seconds, then off for 10, on, off, and then on for 30. Keeps cycling through this.
Have pin will travel.
Yup, tried that immediately, no voice through earbuds at all.
I've not experienced that situation. Initially I thought that "forgetting" Poly in your Bluetooth phone settings, then reconnecting might help. Then reading about the blue light cycling, I'm not sure it would do anything.
It may be worth logging that directly with Chord support to see if they can help.
Probably totally irrelevant but I have just updated my phone from Android 7.0 to 8.0 and GoFigure no longer connects although phone appears to be connected to Poly via Bluetooth.
Was updated a couple of weeks ago, to Android 9 and its been fine. I've got a feeling it started updating over my mobile hotspot and then got interrupted. Will raise a fault tomorrow but real shame as its become an integral part of me getting through the day (earbuds in as I polish cars). Got the latest album by The Cinematic Orchestra and having to slumb it listening to it on vinyl
Will leave the poly on charge tonight separately and see if that helps. If not I can pop over to Nintronics tomorrow where I bought it from. Thanks for the feedback guys.
With this new firmware and the subsequent GoFigure update is it possible to browse through the SD card using the app in Airplane/Flight mode? We can do away with this WiFi scanning chirping noise etc as a result.
Yes I can confirm that when your WiFi isn't connected then you no longer have the chirping noise using Bluetooth audio or Quickplay.
Did you answer my question?
Sorry to be a bit naive
Can we browse the SD card for files using Gofigure after the update?
Ah sorry I thought you were just asking about the WiFi scanning. No as I mentioned before GoFigure uses Bluetooth BLE which is only able to send a few Kb of data every few minutes.
This means to browse an SD card containing several thousand music files would take hours to download the album/tracklist into GoFigure. It just isn't practical to use BLE to browse SD card content which is why we limited it to playlists only as the fastest option. Having said that Bluetooth is constantly evolving so as the BLE format develops there is possibility for it
to become faster and then that would give us something to work with.
